Walkabout

Popped in for lunch this afternoon. Son had a gammon steak which he said was "OK". I had a 10 oz " medium" steak. Would have been overcooked if I had wanted it well done. Worst steak I have ever had - and my waistline attests to the fact I have had many in my 60 years.

Cool place! Had lots of tvs but no actual games playing, not sure why. Decent range of beers and the food wasn’t bad either. Had a nice atmosphere.

This was the first time that I ever tried kangaroo. Perhaps it would be better to try it in Australia, but I haven't been there and having the chance to chomp down on a joey burger in Glasgow, I couldn't see any reason why not. More people need to try eating things that are a little bit unusual, because if they did they would realise what I did in this case, which is that kangaroo is scrumptious!
